Training Preschool Volunteers

PreschoolLast week, I had the opportunity to attend the Children’s Ministry Expo in Lexington, Kentucky.  It was a packed couple of days of talking to, and learning from, wonderful people about children ministry.  One of those people that I learned from was Jenny Funderburke.  I have long been a fan of her blog, and I discovered last week that she is as nice as she is smart.

Jenny did a great presentation called:

A Mama’s Non-Negotiables for Preschool Ministry

Now, I have absolutely nothing to do with preschool ministry beyond the fact that my youngest son attends one every week.  That said, I was captivated and learned so much from the presentation, that I thought I would share it with you.  Following the expo, Jenny did a series on the presentation on her blog.  I would encourage you to read all of the installments:

If you are in preschool ministry, take notes.  There is much to be learned.  And, if you’re not, take notes – there are gems in there that can be mined for any ministry.  Thanks to Jenny for this great presentation.  It was great to finally meet you in person, and I look forward to continuing to learn from you!
