Mark your calendars kids. Tomorrow marks the dawn of a whole new day when it comes to internet radio, well, not really, but tomorrow is the very first show for the kids (and by kids I mean panel of writers) here at Kidmin1124.com. Tomorrow, Thursday, January 13, 2011 from 9:00 PM EST until 10:00 PM EST, we will launch the Kidmin Volunteer Show on CMConnect Radio.
The bi-weekly show will feature a panel of authors from right here on Kidmin1124.com who will discuss issues related to volunteers and volunteering, answer audience questions and most importantly have a good time. We have some characters amongst us here, so I have no doubt that the show will be fun if nothing else. Over the course of the next year, we will tackle a variety of issues of interest to volunteers and those who lead them. We will talk about a calling, recruiting, interviewing, training, promoting, replicating, evaluating and even firing volunteers and much much more.
Tomorrow’s show will be a little bit different. At last count, we had 16 writers here at Kidmin1124 – many of whom are committed to contributing to the show. Tomorrow, the plan is to introduce you to many of the writers who will be contributing to the show. We will also be taking audience questions. So, please tune in from 9:00 to 10:00 and let us know you’re there by calling in. The call in number is (424) 258-9286. We would love to talk to you!
We will give priority to callers, but there are also other ways to contribute to the show. In addition to the phone lines, we will be monitoring the chat room on CMConnect.org for questions and comments on the show. You can e-mail questions to firstname.lastname@example.org and you can tweet questions to us using the hashtag #kidminradio.
If you don’t get to listen live, you can always check out the archives later, but you’ll miss out on the chance to call in if you do! If you’re planning on listening, please leave a comment below and let us know! Hopefully we will talk to you tomorrow!
