Here on Kidmin1124 we have been talking about helping kids cope with divorce. One of the ways that we can start a dialog with our children is through reading. I wanted to share a list of books for kids about divorce that you can pass on to the families you serve each week that are going through this difficult time and may be having trouble talking with their kids about it.

Do you know of any other books for kids on divorce?

It was so wonderful to come across your site and find my book, Where Am I Sleeping Tonight?-A Story of Divorce, listed as a book to help children and their families through this difficult time. I wanted to make sure families knew it is appropriate for elementary school aged children. Many of the other divorce books are for younger children. As a teacher of 4th graders for 35 years, I was inspired to write this story with hopes that it could help families….especially those in a shared custody agreement.
