Saying Thank You Rocks

Two of the most powerful words that you can say as a leader in children’s ministry are “Thank You.”

There are so many ways that we can say thank you to our volunteers from cards to gifts to saying it out loud.

Here is one way that I think is incredible:

Message from the Children

How are you saying “Thank You” to your volunteers?

  1. Great video!

I try to thank our volunteers in these different ways:

    1) End of year party to highlight how God has been at work, spotlight key volunteers, general “thank-you” to everyone, fun games, prizes, etc.

    2) 2x a year large-group training to equip and encourage.

    3) Monthly podcast to focus on one key CM principle and thank everyone for their hard work.

    4) Every week I write 1 hand-written thank-you note to 1 volunteer, staffer, and parent/child.
